Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Nonelection News: Spiking chicken and noodle soup with hot green chilies? Delicious. Do New Mexicans know of this? It's my new sick food. I can kinda breathe for a second. Blessed, blessed oxygen.

Now back to election news...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think it was CNN saying it looks like Arizona is going to succeed in making English the official language.

OTOH, as of now, anyway, CNN has the gay marriage ban at 50-50, with half of precincts reporting.

Not that I expect it to last.

Liese, I love your polling place, btw. Honestly, I suspect it was what prompted me to thank the republican campaigner dude.

If only my precinct did food!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm enjoying this election. CNN has called 15 new House seats for the Dems, and counting. That's what they needed, right? The House is now Demtastic?

Sadly, running over the exit polls and so forth, I think the Dems will fall one short of taking the Senate too. Assuming Allen does take Virginia, courtesy of a late endorsement from Borat.

Always Anti-fascist!

I expect to win that one. But that's because I busted ass on it.

Do New Mexicans know of this?

Hell yeah! Green chile in EVERYTHING. Honestly. Make it all better.

We, especially southern NMicans, live on green chile. It's practically a god. Man, I miss it,.

Mom's standard sick order is to have dad pick up green chile posole from Andele's. Pork soup without the noodles. Hominy makes up for that.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

ION, the election results are even better when you're eating bread with Nutella.

billytea, as of right now the House is projected to be Demtastic by CNN.

Tivo/DVR alert -- you have to manually record TDS/Colbert tonight, because it's a special.
Thanks! Reset to catch them.

Our wings are not tired.

The 4 top races on my newspaper's cover are Governor, Senator, and 2 House seats. 1 Rep, 3 Dem. Who do they picture? Our new Governor and his parents. [link] I think he will be better than Jeb, but still very disappointed.
