I'm enjoying this election. CNN has called 15 new House seats for the Dems, and counting. That's what they needed, right? The House is now Demtastic?
Sadly, running over the exit polls and so forth, I think the Dems will fall one short of taking the Senate too. Assuming Allen does take Virginia, courtesy of a late endorsement from Borat.
I expect to win that one. But that's because I busted ass on it.

The 4 top races on my newspaper's cover are Governor, Senator, and 2 House seats. 1 Rep, 3 Dem. Who do they picture? Our new Governor and his parents. [link] I think he will be better than Jeb, but still very disappointed.
Billytea - yeah the Democrats will fail to take the Senate. They need six - they will probably pickup 4. (3 at minimum, 5 at most) . But the house seems like it is going to happen.

I voted in Montgomery County, aka liberal pinko Jew central, so hopefully once our votes are in the close races here will go blue. The local news right now is really pushing the idea that Maryland's races will tip the balance, one way or the other, for the rest of the country-- I wonder if anyone not in Maryland is reporting the same?

I am not a huge fan of even the good chicken soup as I have celery issues and am not fond of the way overcooked carrots. But I am sick. So I spied the chilies and combined the two. It is wonderful. I am so glad my uncle lived in Albuquerque for a while and I got to visit and fall enthralled with the green chili every.where.
I am unsure on the chile, chili, chilly (okay, that's not right) spelling conventions and I am way too attached to dying on the couch to check.
