Here's a summary of all the issues.
Let me explain. No, too long. Let me sum up.
Still pretty long, huh?
Internet magically came back on again overnight, but the cable guy was still out here at 9:30. Hmmph. At least I was home anyway, and would have been awake even without the 8-10 block because of a phone call.
bon, that video was truly charming. What a lovely laugh.
It's prominently posted on the voting machines that the votes don't count.
That's so poetically...something.
at my polling place the scanner jammed.
so into the locked bin for a later scan...
Loved the video bon bon
I think maybe the squirrel had good taste. Of course, I know Boortz only as one of The Worst Persons In The World.
Florida Secretary of State Sue Cobb said she didn't expect serious problems Tuesday.
"History has shown that the machines are far more accurate than paper so we're quite confident in it," Cobb said. "There is absolutely no reason to believe that there will be any security issues, any hacking going on."
What history is she looking at?
What history is she looking at?
The one that's written by the winners?
The one that's written by the winners?
Yeah. And the large corporations that support them.
Okay, I vote that Florida doesn't get any more Secretaries of State.
Most of the time Neil Boortz drives me crazy, but at least he's appalled by the the influence of the religious right. He won't talk about abortion, except to say he's pro-choice and there's no point arguing about it. He won't allow anyone to rant about the "gay lifestyle" unless they can describe, in detail, the moment they chose to be heterosexual.
He can sometimes be the worst person in the world, though.
Okay, I vote that Florida doesn't get any more Secretaries of State.
This gave me the most hilarious idea.... a public official exchange program! Your official operates their thing in another state for a month, and that state's official comes to you.
So much potential for badness, but I bet it would open some people's eyes.
