Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Yeah. And the large corporations that support them.
Okay, I vote that Florida doesn't get any more Secretaries of State.
Most of the time Neil Boortz drives me crazy, but at least he's appalled by the the influence of the religious right. He won't talk about abortion, except to say he's pro-choice and there's no point arguing about it. He won't allow anyone to rant about the "gay lifestyle" unless they can describe, in detail, the moment they chose to be heterosexual.
He can sometimes be the worst person in the world, though.

This gave me the most hilarious idea.... a public official exchange program! Your official operates their thing in another state for a month, and that state's official comes to you.
So much potential for badness, but I bet it would open some people's eyes.
IONon-votingN, it sucks to be Airbus these days. Their A380 superjumbo has been hit with huge delays, which will cost them billions.
PARIS - FedEx Corp. canceled its order for 10 Airbus A380 jets on Tuesday, the first customer to retract an order for the new jumbo double-decker plane that has been dogged by numerous delays.
The world’s largest express transportation company cited Airbus’ production delays and said in a statement that its FedEx Express unit has ordered 15 Boeing Co. 777 freighters with a list price of $3.5 billion and taken options on an additional 15.
“The availability and delivery timing of this aircraft, coupled with its attractive payload range and economics, make this choice the best decision for FedEx,” said FedEx Chairman and CEO Frederick W. Smith.
Even before all these delays (and this cancelation), the A380 was not selling well and was below the break-even point for the project.

Good plan.
I didn't vote this morning because I am waiting for DH to get back in town. He likes to go with me. It's making me crazy. I want to go vote NOW.
It will be a long night. Can't wait for TDS. I'm not expecting to get much sleep. Most of the races I care about are on this coast so that might help. So many are close I fear we will have to wait for absentee ballots to be counted.
I'm off to vote now.
I'm off to vote now.
Godspeed!
Ohio's Secretary of State is no peach, either.
