It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Now I'm curious if there was a lyric sheet that might display the absolute wrongness of Journey by not having a semi-colon.

I'm sure it goes:
STREETLIGHTS!
PEOPLE!
uh-uh-uh-uh-uhhhhhhh

I love posting about this song; it puts a huge smile on my face.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

For a few years, I didn't have my Milli Vanilli CD on the shelf, but I got over that.

Now I really want to go do karaoke. Like, right now.

When you're racing - it's life. Anything that comes before or after is just waiting.

IOjustaspainfulN, does anyone around here have RA? A friend of mine was diagnosed a few months ago, and now is having some kind of reaction/new symptom/completely unrelated problem with her feet. They're burning and swelling and causing her all kinds of grief. Any thoughts from the hivemind?

Ailleann, possibly something such as cellulitis, which is inflammation caused by an infection of somekind, or even more unusual would be vasculitis. I mention these two things b/c of her RA diagnosis and knowing that those with autoimmune have been known to have such more unusual problems. Vasculitis is rare and difficult to diagnose, usually it requires a biopsy not unlike cellulitis to determine the cause of infection. Either way she should go see her rheumy or at least PCP.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Own my secret shame? Why, yes indeed.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with GnR. They are considered to be one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

Or maybe that should be "were considered." I think now everyone just considers Axl craxxy.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

but do you have Vixen and Yngvie Malmsteen's Rising Force?

No, but now I want them.

Of course, right now I'm at work and listening to Killing Joke, so I hope no one holds my power ballad addiction against me.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Never gonna let you down . . .

Still remember the first time that my dad saw that video. He could NOT believe it.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Don't own their CD, but "Spin Me 'Round" by Dead or Alive has a tendency to wind itself through my brain on a semi-regular basis.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I always assumed that "Streetlight" was describing "People".

You know, people who live their lives under streetlights.
