I got a call from the recorded voice of Bill Cinton last week. It was good to hear his voice, but he's really sort of preaching to the choir what with an anti-gay amendment and a Bush crony U. S. Senate candidate on this ballot.
I knew absolutely nothing about any of the school board candidates I could vote for, so ended up choosing the woman named Juanita since it's unlikely more minority and female representation would be a bad thing.
The attorney I work with is the finance coordinator (or, rather, our poor, beleagured bookkeeper is) for a city council candidate in our ward. We've been steeped in the campaign since the beginning. The bookkeeper and I can't WAIT for Wednesday. The candidate has a very good chance, fortunately.
Beyond that though, I'm not sure about the lesser offices. More research required. The mayor? Seems like a done deal, for better or worse.
Question: Do I want Wednesday or Friday off this week? I get one or the other after someone figured out that otherwise our staff conferences are in violation of state labor codes.
Friday. Three day weekend.
Well, depending on Tuesday's election results, you might want to get totally wasted Tuesday night....
Gotta agree with Aimee. Only counterargument -- if you need to get errands done, emptier businesses on Wednesday (Friday is Veterans' Day, which some people get off).

Unless absentee voting is at an all time high, and those can't be counted until Thursday, and if the race really turns out to be close....
I don't want to go to Cincinnati tomorrow.
Let me know if I can entertain you. I'm not hugely exciting, but I hear that I'm good for a laugh or two.

Hell, you can probably check out the results on Diebold's website already.
Please tell me we love Journey unironically. It's a thing.
Well I hate them unironically. Does that help?
