You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

Well, depending on Tuesday's election results, you might want to get totally wasted Tuesday night....

Unless absentee voting is at an all time high, and those can't be counted until Thursday, and if the race really turns out to be close....

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I don't want to go to Cincinnati tomorrow.

Let me know if I can entertain you. I'm not hugely exciting, but I hear that I'm good for a laugh or two.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Unless absentee voting is at an all time high, and those can't be counted until Thursday, and if the race really turns out to be close....

Hell, you can probably check out the results on Diebold's website already.

Please tell me we love Journey unironically. It's a thing.

Well I hate them unironically. Does that help?

I don't want to be Superman. I want to stay little and be next to Mommy.

I have personally answered at least six calls from recordings in the last three days. My mother has taken several and the kids have taken a couple. The kids really don't know what to do about it.

My 6-year-olds are six, and they play Runebound and Arkham Horror. My daughter was a fairy for Halloween, and she made herself a sheet of "fairy spells" which she apparently took to school. The first one was an invocation of Chthulu copied from one of the Arkham game cards. I have to wonder if the teacher saw it...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, re: the election, Wonkette says

...your 2006 Midterm Elections and the weeks of lawsuits, accusations, and sentient voting machine killing rampages that will surely follow.

So you might want to be off work when the sentient voting machine killing rampages are happening. However, that might take a few days to begin, right?
