Someone convince me not to run down to the shelter and adopt this dog: [link]

I want a black bitch, not a red male Rottie mix. But he's so cute! And I'm also not planning to get another dog until I get a new job and have settled down a bit into the new schedule, since I'm also thinking of moving...

But isn't he cute?

What is even happening?

Consuela, he's beautiful.

I suppose that's not so helpful, huh?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Someone convince me not to run down to the shelter and adopt this dog:

Someone not me or Hec. That dog sounds like a keeper indeed. You need a new furry sweet boy in your life. And look at him! He'll go hiking with you! He'll curl up and watch "Meerkat Manor" with you! Plus, poor babe, he's been up on their website since 9/26 (Matilda's birthday -- surely it's a sign?), viewed 799 times, and yet nobody has taken him yet. That is wrong like a thing that is wrong.

So, uh, yeah. Don't you go adopting that dog, Suela.

t /so profoundly not helpful

He looks like a friendly dog.

I have to buy filters for my humidifier as well. Not so much congestion as it looks like someone took sandpaper to my eyeballs and my nose is parched.

Today is target (and maybe the dreaded walmart if target lacks filters,) grocery shopping and then cookie making. May even get my hair redyed in there somewhere.

Sigh.

Aw, that dog is so beautiful! And what a great decription.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

You could go to The Daily Puppy [link] and remind yourself that there are a lot of cute dogs out there. There will probably be a cute dog who badly needs a home when you're more ready to give him one.

Oh, no, you shouldn't have linked to that site, Suela! I'm going to spend the evening looking at puppies and wishing I was in a position to adopt. Particularly this dog: [link]

He's totally right up my alley. I want a Staffordshire Terrier so badly.

The iPod was b/c of the news. It is to save me from having to travel without one. and also to save me from taking my laptop on the trip. we will now use the iPod to hold some DVD entertainment for mac.

In case you haven't used the video iPod before, if you are planning on using it to watch video, know that that reduces battery life from about 13-14 hours (for music) to about 2 hours (for video). Personally, that was a bit of a surprise to me, and I'm happy I didn't have to make that discovery on a long flight.

Oooh, Rotty/Golden mix sounds like a winner to me.
