Oh, no, you shouldn't have linked to that site, Suela! I'm going to spend the evening looking at puppies and wishing I was in a position to adopt. Particularly this dog: [link]

He's totally right up my alley. I want a Staffordshire Terrier so badly.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

The iPod was b/c of the news. It is to save me from having to travel without one. and also to save me from taking my laptop on the trip. we will now use the iPod to hold some DVD entertainment for mac.

In case you haven't used the video iPod before, if you are planning on using it to watch video, know that that reduces battery life from about 13-14 hours (for music) to about 2 hours (for video). Personally, that was a bit of a surprise to me, and I'm happy I didn't have to make that discovery on a long flight.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oooh, Rotty/Golden mix sounds like a winner to me.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Consuela, that dog is beautiful. And, he looks like he needs a good Buffista to love him.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Doggie!!!

(also not helpful, I know)

(Oh well)

I just went back to sleep for alomst three hours. YAY me, except for the whole laundry thing I should have done.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The last sixteen hours of Natter can be summed up as: Doogie! Doggie!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Livejournal is still largely down. And now, some twelve or thirteen hours after we first got in here and mentioned the problem, they've finally put up a 404 saying the thing about the power implosion. Ah, efficiency.

I mean, I'm not trying to crack on them when they're down, but honestly--all this talk about new services and better site management under Six Apart, and they don't even have a proper contingency plan? Or a useful, and continually updated, way of notifying its "millions of journals" that things are down and they're working on the problem? Feh.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I really think Sonic should stop advertising in markets where it doesn't have any restaurants. It's just cruel.

We're ordering Chicago style pizza for dinner instead.

My motivation seems to have fled in the face of the huge piles of laundry I have to do.

meara - Nov 04, 2006 11:18:42 am PST #7382 of 10001

I agree with you on the Sonic, Cash. It's MEAN.

When I was in San Antonio the other week, I had Sonic for lunch TWICE. Mostly because I like their cranberry limeaid. MMmmmmm. And onion rings. And corn dog!

I'm sleepy. I shouldn't be. And I just caught up on like, 800 natter posts, so I'm still back on Halloween thinking "mmm, candy". Darn you all!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I've actually managed to do some laundry. And dishes (which needed it badly.) And a bit of tidying.

I got 30 books for $10 at the library yesterday. If I get myself washed and figure out what I'm taking for potluck tonight, I may go get more.

But I didn't actually want to do any of this. I wanted to be a lumberjack! No, that's not it. Ah, yes. Sit and read Sourcery, that was it.
