Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

Fela had bedbugs in his old apartment. He's still suffering from the ptsd of it all. Truly horrible experience.

$450,000 in damages? From bedbugs?? How long do you have to ignore them before they eat THAT much furniture?

(Seriously, I had bedbugs in my old apartment a few years ago, and other than replacing the mattress they ate, it didn't cost us a dime to get rid of them -- landlord came over with a bottle of industrial-strength bug spray, sealed up a few cracks in the floor, and that was that.)

Oh wait, it's not just the bedbugs:

The loft's owner, Francis Feeney, also allegedly failed to provide pots and pans, and didn't hang mirrors on the wall or drapes in the living room.

The third-floor apartment is in a classic cast-iron building on Greene St. where a three-bedroom loft apartment with 11-foot-high ceilings lists for $3.5 million on Halstead's Web site. But the building's elevator was out of order for five of the days during the couple's brief stay, the lawsuit charges.

I mean, no drapes and a broken elevator? And they only want half a million dollars in compensation? Why they're practically saints...

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

"Magic: the Gathering,'' a game similar to Dungeons and Dragons.

In that they both have dragons?

Note that this is not the whole point of my outrage, but it's annoying that Dungeons and Dragons is STILL the go-to title for "gaming is evil", and that any tiny tie you can make to it will prove your point.

I suspect you're all donning your choir robes for my sermon, so I'll go sit down now.

eta: mac news! must go read!
