It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

bon. I should leave tonight at 6.

Given my rapidly approaching flu cancer, I might have to withdraw. I'll be in touch offline.

Best costume at work: the woman in black, with an immense (like, 3 by 3 feet) clear plastic bag filled with green tissue paper and a label "spinach." She's E. Coli, of course.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I thought of a good one this morning.

Madonna costume that consists of a foam soda can and a crown.

"Queen of Pop".

Also, they were showing Nightmare on Elm Street (with no sound), so I got to watch Johnny Depp get eaten by his bed while wearing one of those football half-shirts that were cool 20 years ago. Bad hair, but sexy tummy.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Johnny Depp get eaten by his bed

You know, that's a phrase you just don't see very often.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

hivemind question: officially, is it known as the Nobel Prize of Peace, or the Nobel Peace Prize?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Time Warner sucks. My internet connection is down (currently purloining bandwidth) and it took me two calls and 40+ minutes on hold to find out "Yeah, there's an outage. No we don't know when it'll be fixed." The first time I called, the automated system hung up on me after a few minutes, telling me to call back later. I despise that.

I can't believe I've started thinking about next year's Halloween costume. Sheesh.

Happy birthday. DCJ! Happy anniversary, Jilli and Pete!

ita, today is the TimeWarner switchover and shit. We're having intermittent outages here, too.

Their phone customer service sucks even more Adelphia. I called for work and spent 30 minutes with them troubleshooting, etc only to have them say, finally, that she was residential help desk, not business. She transferred me and then I just gave up.
