Sue, msbelle - feel better.
Kat, what's the costume?
I'm a little sad that I'm not observing this year
For me, "observing" is usually a word which is going with strict religious rules, so it's fun to see it connected with costumes and candies, even with the word "not" before it.
Even with Purim, it's kinda rare to see grown-ups in costumes here, or even teenagers, for that matters. And usually Purim begins right when a fast (connected to it, of course) ends, so my at-the-time poor-and-achy-for-water head doesn't have any room for stuff like costumes (or candies. Or fun. Or anything which isn't water), and therefore I can hardly remember when was the last time I wore a costume. What a shame.
Happy Birthday, Daniel!
Happy Anniversary, Reasons!
Happy Hallowe'en, all!
Happy Birthday, Daniel!
Happy Anniversary Jilli & Pete!
Happy sickness, Sue & msbelle - no, wait.
I'm feeling surprisingly peppy, but my nasal membranes are informing me that I'm getting a cold. Unfortunate, since I'm singing in a concert this week.

I thought it was a little weird as I was typing it, but what are you going to do? Although I have observed already today a couple of little cuties walking down the street in costume -- one little superhero and one little ladybug. Cute!
Which was my yesterday.
Ugh! That's no fun.
Happy Birthday Daniel!
And happy anniversary to the Reasons!
Teh cranky making part of the locksmith thing is that the woman was, I'lll get right on it when she thought it was their fault. But when she thought I just didn't show up, she was like, "I don't know when they'll be able to get out there."
Happy Birthday Daniel!
Happy Anniversary Reasons!
Hippo birdies to Daniel and happy anniversary to the Reasons! I hope the next year is excellent for all of you!

There's kerfuffle in my office because one of my coworkers is selling her OSU/Michigan football tickets for ONLY $500 a piece. She bought them for $53 each. The whole thing kinda makes me queasy.
Hil! Great news about your soon coming-to-Israel! I'm looking forward to seeing you again (notice no use of "if" in that last sentence).
Ouise! How lovely to post with you! How are you doing? Other than the possible-cold, which I hope wouldn't interfere with the singing too much.

One of the most fun parts about Purim is seeing all the kids in their costumes, walking around, some with school bags and the like, even, all over the place. Adorable.
Neil Gaiman has an Op-Ed in today's NYT.
First off, I love your tagline. Forgive me? Kisses?
Of course. Compliments are nature's balm.
I'm also not observing this year, unless observance includes avoiding the parade, which passes close enough to my apartment that it took me 45 minutes to cross half a block last year. I think the last time I donned costume it was 2000.
