Skipping to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Daniel C. Jensen's birthday. Happy birthday, Daniel! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Also, IIRC, and I hope IRC, because it's just the perfect date for that, isn't it also Jilli and Pete VoiceOfReason's anniversary?
Gronklies! I'm goign to be workign from home today, i.e. in my pajamas! Even better, I don't have the headache that plagued me yesterday.
There's a devastating article about Katharine Harris in the Washington Post this morning -- would-be Senatorial candidate (R-FL) who can't keep a staff and is as responsible as anyone for the FL election debacle in 2000.
I am not sure why I didn't think that was a
fight
fight, but I clicked. Stupid me. I hate "sport" fighting.
I stayed up to late. I am tired. I have astrong desire to call in sick, but I won't. I am sure I will feel worse later this week, if I am in fact getting sick.
Happy anniversary, Reasons!
Happy birthday, DCJ!
Happy Halloween, all! I'm a little sad that I'm not observing this year, but mostly in theory. Not enough to do anything about it.
I think I am actually sick. And I am at work. Boo me!
Oh Sue. I'm sorry to hear that.
I'm up too early as I need to hem my costume. Nothing like being a last minute girl.
It's not so bad. It's better than waiting around all after on your day off waiting for a locksmith to call and them never showing up. Only to be told this morning that a) they came to a house where they were told there would be no one there to discover there was no one there, and b) they claim they called when you were home all afternoon and noone called. Which was my yesterday.
Sue, msbelle - feel better.
Kat, what's the costume?
I'm a little sad that I'm not observing this year
For me, "observing" is usually a word which is going with strict religious rules, so it's fun to see it connected with costumes and candies, even with the word "not" before it.
Even with Purim, it's kinda rare to see grown-ups in costumes here, or even teenagers, for that matters. And usually Purim begins right when a fast (connected to it, of course) ends, so my at-the-time poor-and-achy-for-water head doesn't have any room for stuff like costumes (or candies. Or fun. Or anything which isn't water), and therefore I can hardly remember when was the last time I wore a costume. What a shame.
Happy Birthday, Daniel!
Happy Anniversary, Reasons!
Happy Hallowe'en, all!
Happy Birthday, Daniel!
Happy Anniversary Jilli & Pete!
Happy sickness, Sue & msbelle - no, wait.
I'm feeling surprisingly peppy, but my nasal membranes are informing me that I'm getting a cold. Unfortunate, since I'm singing in a concert this week.
