Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oops, sorry!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Although, I was thinking about that show (which I never watched) recently, when I caught a BBC What Not To Wear with a woman who was a dealer in Blackpool.

I gave myself the extra hour when I went to bed. Instead of 12:40, it was 11:40! Still slept an awful lot. So far, still haven't used the heat much. I may be acclimating to 65. It may only last until it gets really cold, and by the end of winter I'll again be cranking the heat up to 78, but....it's a start. Considering rates are up 72%.

I think June is going to be a very busy month. And at least half aren't even internet people. And there's the marriage of my former (not in a bad way) best friend from 9-16. When my Idaho friend called out of the blue, I have to admit my first question was "are you pregnant?!" (She's not, she just wanted to gab. She laughed at me.)

I went out and returned the boots. But I got another pair that fit much better. They don't have as interesting a heel, but they are so much more comfy. And twice as much, but whatever. Currently laundering and cooking dinner.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I need to nap. Like, seriously.

But first: isn't $7.99 a lot for a small box of blueberries? I paid that yesterday in a fit of not paying enough attention. Today, I go to TJ's where I should have been all along because those are three bucks and change there.

I went in the 12 items or fewer lane (and it is fewer there), and the cashier asked me if I was complying. Which is cool-they do boot people out. I totally was complying! But then I checked my receipt, and it said 17 items. Turns out the bananas were rang up as 6@whatever. I think my bottles of Smart Water should be counted individually, but even though the pricing model is the same for bananas, they aren't.

Happy baby news!

Of course the pocket I left kleenex in was in the dark wash.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

They charge per banana rather than by weight? Weird.

In an uncharacteristic and thankfully brief burst of energy that saw me rearranging my living room furniture, I discovered that my orrery is the most powerful dust-catching device ever crafted by human hands. I think the dust bunny underneath it may have violated the Law of Conservation of Matter and Energy. Unless it converted the handyman into said dust bunny during my absence.

Yeah, that's crazy.

hip deep in pie

Were they organic Blueberries? That's the only reason why they might be so much.

I worked 8 hours non-stop today photocopying job applications. My back is killing me. But, I get paid double time for the day! So I treated myself to Thai food for supper.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

It's six o'clock, and it's totally dark. I keep feeling like it ought to be time for bed.

I dislike winter.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Those had better be damn good blueberries for like $.10 per blue.

I made from-scratch applesauce-spice cake with raisins this weekend. It came out looking kinda brown and organic-like, but it was subtly sweet and flavorful, so I'm not complaining! (Well, too much.) Too bad there's not going to be enough left of it for breakfast tomorrow....
