What is even happening?

Is there already a good Buffista name for Jess's expected one? My mind keeps falling back on Jess's alter ego.

My stomach won't tolerate coffee at all these days -- I've switched over completely to tea.
Aw, but your love was so pure. Does the smell of coffee put you off, too?

Sadly, nothing helps the need to nap, although once you get into the second trimester you can have a cup or two of coffee again (or just continue as usual if you're Cindy), which helps greatly with the whole feeling human thing.
For reals. Even sleeping did nothing to slake my nap-thirst.
I have proof of twin telepathy. My twin sister, who only knows of the b.org vaguely as "that internet place" got me a pair of comfy pj's for my birthday (which she gave me when I got here for our visit). They have warm, flannel pants. With monkeys. They say, "monkey pants" all over them.
Monkey pants! WANT! Twin telepathy is is so cool, especially when it nets you ACTUAL monkey pants.
In fact, I think that fact alone was enough to alert Cindy that Jacqueline was pregnant.
I was already wondering about JZ, but then she made a post about having an all of a sudden and all-over overwhelming queasy moment when she was talking to people at church, and coupled with the fatigue it just screamed, "PREGNANCY!" I honestly read that post like she was ramping up to tell us, or trying to tease us into guessing. I felt badly after, that I didn't control my fonts.
As I recall, Ple was the first person we told, but Cindy was the first person who guessed.
I know JZ, Plei, Teppy, and I had a little flurry of e-mails, during the weeks the OB had confused JZ for a lab rat.
Cindy has strong pregnancy-dar.
I did not suspect a thing with Jess, even though I remember her talking about considering the possibility, quite some time ago.

I've had more than one prophecy-girl sort of dreams about my f2f friends and relatives (and my own) pregnancies, though. As far as I can remember, I haven't had a wrong one, but I don't always have them.

My mother often knows on sight, although not with me, which is sort of funny.

IIRC, she suspected me for weeks before I spilled, based on an offhand remark I made.
I did. I was nearly certain. Of course, I'd been praying for you to have a baby (I can't remember if I stopped once you'd decided to start to let go of the idea; I probably at least altered my prayers a bit) so I was more (unconsciously) alert to clues in your case. I might have even marked the posts that keyed me in. I didn't dare ask you, because it really wasn't all that long after you'd decided to stop trying.

In retrospect, isn't is just so *Lillian* to be all, "You think you know...what you are...what's to come. You haven't even begun."

information libertarian

Cindy, you also wondered alound if I was pregnant when I was in fact about 8 weeks along with the Dillo and hadn't told my mom yet. Based on the fact that I completely spaced a meeting at work, and was 45 minutes late.

I FORGOT ABOUT FALL BACK AND I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!

Yesterday sans alarm my body slept 13 hours, albeit with several wake-ups in the last 4 hours. Last night 10. and I could probably fall asleep again if I set my mind to it.

What's Glove Got To Do With It?
... or a funny fanfic story. Not that I'm going to write any of them any time soon.

I got thoroughly lost driving last night... you know, I've lived in the Boston area 20-odd (some of them very odd) years and I still can't find my way around Dorchester and Jamaica Plain. Feh. I remarked when I got out of my car finally at my destination, "I've never felt more like a tiny tiny woman in a big city."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I got maybe six hours of sleep last night, in spite of the time change. Stupid brain.

Flea, was that in LJ? You'd been talking about trying (or maybe talking about weaning Casper in preparation for same) for a while. Space-outs are often what clue me in. The hormones are powerful mind-altering drugs, aren't they?

I FORGOT ABOUT FALL BACK AND I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!

We set the kids' clocks back before they went to bed. Chris found the whole thing quite upsetting, because all of a sudden he was going to be 15 minutes "early" rather than 45 minutes late. He was also pretty sure we were making some poor poor poor poor choice on our own, one that was going to have us out of sync with everyone else. When I explained about time zones, DSL and standard time, his concerns switched to the whole world working on the wrong time.

Suffice it to say time for Chris? Not so relative.

Oh, Tom. I can so relate. I think I was too excited about the party to be able to sleep, or something. I was up at 5 for a while, then finally just got up at 6:45.

Poor Chris! How confusing for the little guy.

Pictures of the party are coming soon. They are uploading as I type.

I somehow thought that the clocks were supposed to be switched tonight. Happily, in this technological age, most of the important clocks (like on my computer) that I'd rely on all switched without my intervention....
