Oh, Tom. I can so relate. I think I was too excited about the party to be able to sleep, or something. I was up at 5 for a while, then finally just got up at 6:45.
Poor Chris! How confusing for the little guy.
Pictures of the party are coming soon. They are uploading as I type.

The first bunch are of the apartment, which I've been promising people...then there are party pictures.
I somehow thought that the clocks were supposed to be switched tonight. Happily, in this technological age, most of the important clocks (like on my computer) that I'd rely on all switched without my intervention....
I've been looking at my clock on my computer all day and it wasn't until I saw my phone, which hadn't automatically updated for some reason, that I realized it was fall back time. Oh, the pleasures of sleeping for an extra hour while getting the benefit still of waking early.
You know it's time to clean out your refrigerator when you realize the plastic bag you're looking at and wondering "why would I pack dried beef in pickle juice?" contains a tomato.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit.
And, I completely forgot about falling back last night. Err.
I was surprised by how many people got Tina Turner without getting the fact it was tied to a movie not titled What's Love Got To Do With It?
Her wigs are pretty identifiable. Sounds like a good time, all the way around.
I got maybe six hours of sleep last night, in spite of the time change. Stupid brain.
I think I got seven. Stupid cat.
Timelies all!
The 70s party was pretty fun, despite me being the second-oldest person there.(The oldest person there was the hostess's father. Yipes.) It really should have been called a late-70s/disco party judging by the outfits and the music. There was one guy dressed as Angus Young from AC/DC, which I found clever, and the previously-mentioned father was dressed as Elwood Blues.
I think I must have stolen everybody's sleep yesterday/last night, since I got another 8, even with all the napping I did.
I'm trying to decide if I want TJ's French toast, a buttermilk biscuit, or a banana pancake and sausage.
The last one sounds the best, but requires getting dressed and going out.
Life is hard.
I just realized the coffee shop will not be open for 10 minutes.
