This money, it is too much. You should have some small refund.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha! So did I, msbelle, although, different time zone. And the SO is still asleep. I suspect this has to do with his staying up late last night playing online poker. I blame my brother-in-law for introducing him.

The Biscuit is going nuts with all the not-playing-with-him we're doing. He's sulking outside the bedroom door.

So, like, when does the time change? Oh, no wait, I'm in Arizona again. It won't change for me. Yay stubborn states! Is it the only continental one that doesn't change now that Indiana caved?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Timelies,

Not doing anything Halloween-ish tonight. Only got invited to one party and it sounds like a bust. (Host is more a friend of my younger brother than myself. No costumes. Sounds like it's going to be a bunch of folks 5-10 years younger than me sitting around getting drunk and playing video games. Plus, my gf hasn't been feeling particularly well lately (she went right back to sleep when I got up for work) and doesn't think she'd be in the mood for even a good party right now.)

IO-Halloween-News, I'm sitting at work, looking out the window and my town is doing their downtown business Trick-or-Treating right now. A couple just went past walking their two Great Danes. The black one was dressed as Batman and the gray one was dressed as Superman.

Sounds like you needed it.

For once, I've been up for a while, and am only now dressed and ready to....what. Not sure yet. I've got laundry, cleaning, de-cluttering, groceries and I still really should go clothes shopping.

I'll finish my lunch first.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I gotta figure out my day, too. Laundry definitely figures, as well as a bunch of housecleaning 'cause the kiddos are coming over tomorrow.

And now a Stellar's jay has landed on my window and is pecking it. Related to sarameg's cardinal?

Hee. Edited to make her look crazy, and you know, not me.

My cardinal! Or does Theo have one too?

A bunch of sparrows were hanging out on my balcony earlier, driving Devi nuts.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I just had a cardinal in the window, actually. And earlier, a blue jay. And bunches of sparrows. Not coincidentally, I put some birdseed out what with the noreaster and all.

What is even happening?

Help quickly, please...

Dh is at the store. Is the Battlestar Galactica mini-series included in the Battlestar Galactica Season 1 boxed set? He can't find season 1, and is set to buy the mini-series, but we eventually will buy season 1, so we don't want to pay for the mini-series twice.

I know someone told me this a week or so ago, but I can't remember.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Our landlady has a million feeders and birdbaths hung in the communal space here. So we have a ton of birds. It's one of the reasons I was so happy to live here. She does it at her resort, too.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh fun! What's it a fundraiser for? Is it just regular Halloween costumes or party/dress costumes?

It's regular Halloween costumes. It's a fundraiser for one of his theatre companies. Should be fun.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I think so, Cindy. Someone more reliable than me can say, but I think it is included.
