Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You know what's a great alternative to sewing a halloween costume? Stapling one.

If only you watched Project Runway -- Crazy Vincent used a lot of staples and glue in the contruction of his "couture-like" garment.

I was just sitting here, and suddenly was having an allergic reaction for no apparent reason -- until I went into the kitchen and saw that the cleaning woman is here. Fumey! Gack.

OMG can this day end yet? I was even in at 9ish, so I'm out the door at 5, I tell you what.

What is even happening?

Superglue the fasteners to the fabric.

Xpost, but now that I think of it, you probably don't want to deal with the Superglue odor, ita.

brillig

I could have someone come over and staple me in and then tear me out after.

Surely you could find dozens of volunteers.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

or I could have someone come over and staple me in and then tear me out after.

Awesome pickup strategy.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

agreeing with Allyson.

I wish I would be out at 5 or even 6. But I was not in at 9, so there's that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's a combination of randomly waking up before my alarm, which got me here on time, and being in the limbo where all of my work is waiting on other people, which means I don't really have anything to do right now. Sweet!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The department here at work is freaking out over the re-IPing of the servers happening overnight. I have to be in between 8:30 and 9 am tomorrow so I can test my two databases to make sure there's no problems. Good thing is the manager (who is also going to be here and is testing a hell of a lot more than two databases, so he's no slacker) is providing goodies for those of us who are coming in. Others get to test the remote connections from home, including my direct boss, so they miss out on the free food.

This testing is a good thing, because it means I'll be up and dressed early and won't be here too long (as long as there's no problem with the testing--knock on wood!!) and can get my grocery shopping done on the way home.

I'll be on vacay next week since Mom's flying in tomorrow evening, so must get the apartment cleaning done tonight!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Supposably there's a big storm a'coming to town this weekend. I'm closing all the windows and laying in supplies!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Do you have enough weapons? And in case your food runs out, do you have a copy of To Serve Man?
