Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a great meal at Bolo years ago, and I don't think Bobby Flay is at all attractive, but I don't hate him. There, I said it.

Actually, really funny: a while after the good meal at Bolo, I was with my mother again, but at Mesa Grill, and Bobby was there, and my mother told him how much we had loved Bolo. Right after eating at Mesa. Heh. The margaritas at Mesa are really good, though.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Are these 2 facts connected in some way, you think?

What is even happening?

juliana, google suggests Rhode Island Clam Chowder might be the kind with clear broth. Is it? If so, I've had it, but not under that name. In fact, I've only had it on Prince Edward Island, in Canada. I'd take it over the Long Island Clam Chowder any day, but New England Clam Chowder will always be the yummiest to me.

Today is large with random phonecalls for things that are not my area of expertise (nor should they be.) How should I know who does the animated graphics for APL or JPL? Or the status of a UA project? I'm affiliated with neither!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Not juliana, but RI clam chowder is clear.

Because books.

New England Clam Chowder is the One True Chowder.

I ate at Mesa Grill years ago, with my boss. It was very yummy. And I was very glad I wasn't paying.

The elephant article is very cool. And there was only one paragraph that made my brain freeze up completely. Turns out I knew some of that already from reading comics. That's where all the cutting-edge theoretical physics is.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

How should I know who does the animated graphics for APL or JPL?

Bob.

Or the status of a UA project?

47% done.

Actually, no. Mesa with my mother was with people from her job, so no drinking (or maybe a glass of wine). I've had the margaritas there with other people, sitting at the bar. But not for a long time -- I'm pretty sure the last time I was there, you could still smoke in part of the bar area!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I like the article, too. Brain nearly went 'splodey (it was going to anyway from clogged sinuses), but I think the last little bit about black hole computers saved the day.
