What online search do you guys use to find the email address of a publically available figure, like a professor at a university or a reporter? 'Cuz I keep getting routed to stupid pay services, and I don't have time to go poking through individual university sites.

Often if you just google the person, you'll come across a page with their contact information. Other than that, I got nothing if you don't know where the person works.
I have put name + institution + "e-mail" into Google and gotten what you're looking for, Hec.

OK, I figured out what was up with the Ellen Degeneres show -- they're giving away cruises, I guess to people who didn't get tickets to the show. But you have to pick up the phone to win, so they have extra names and numbers at the ready. Apparently. But now I see you have to answer questions about the show, so I can't skip any shows anymore, until they stop giving away cruises!
