OK, I figured out what was up with the Ellen Degeneres show -- they're giving away cruises, I guess to people who didn't get tickets to the show. But you have to pick up the phone to win, so they have extra names and numbers at the ready. Apparently. But now I see you have to answer questions about the show, so I can't skip any shows anymore, until they stop giving away cruises!

I alway catch the pieces that run on NPR and a booth is here right now, so a local radio show was interviewing the founder and...it's just a fascinating thing.
