I had to rewind to be sure. But yeah, he's totally checking her out. Mind, I was doing the same.

Really, who wouldn't?
Happy birthday, Fiona!!
I missed that, victor. Not that I wouldn't do the same myself. She's gorgeous.
Top Chef: I detest Marisa. Drama queen. Get a grip. She behaved like a seventh grader.
And I like Otto! Nice of him to drop out, although it means the judges didn't get to boot Marisa. I really thought it was more an offhand remark about the lychees, as if he noticed them as they were loading the car and wasn't sure if they'd been rung up -- not that he'd hoped to get them for free.
Funniest moment: When the losing team was brought in and Ilan started running his mouth about how good their food was and how they didn't deserve to lose. Chef Tom's eyebrows went up about a foot. Heh. Not a way to win points with Tom.

The whole TC Lychee incident: why didn't they just STOP and check their receipt? Are they really that pushed for time?
It's not unlike the misunderstanding that could be resolved by a simple direct conversation thing.
Exactly, sumi. Plus, hello, the whole fricking thing is ON TAPE.
But yeah, if Marisa was so offended and upset, why didn't she confront the others right there and say, Let's figure this out.
Is 30 Rock a half-hour show? Or an hour? Because I'm down to Veronica Mars and am indifferent-yet-still-watching Studio 60, though I'm pretty sure that'll be cancelled. If 30 Rock is half an hour, I can obtain the already-aired eps and catch up pretty quickly.
30 Rock is a half hour, Tep. I watched the first and my reaction was mixed. I fell asleep during the second, and Scott says that's a good thing. Was the third last night, or is it still coming up? I can't remember what nigth it airs. If it was last night, I think my TiVo made an editorial decision.
Have you given Heroes a shot. I think you could jump in, now. We're still discovering who has what power, etc.
cereal...
Tep, also 30 Rock is a sitcom. Even if you like it, I don't think there's any need to catch up, unless you want to.
What I can remember premise (might not be accurate, but should give you a feel): Tina Fey has a Girl Show. Alec Baldwin in some stove marketing guru that's somehow been put in a < memfault > position of power at the network. He fires Tina's producer, screws everything up, and bring on Tracy Morgan to get a ratings boost. Tracy Morgan and Alec are both batshit insane in their own ways (Baldwin's insanity is more subtle; Morgan's character is, honestly, mentally ill and makes about as much sense as the Buffybot when she's got a short) and a poor match for the show. Tina's annoyed by them, and the ratings are improving.

I think I might just start reading a lot more.
