The whole TC Lychee incident: why didn't they just STOP and check their receipt? Are they really that pushed for time?
It's not unlike the misunderstanding that could be resolved by a simple direct conversation thing.

Exactly, sumi. Plus, hello, the whole fricking thing is ON TAPE.
But yeah, if Marisa was so offended and upset, why didn't she confront the others right there and say, Let's figure this out.
Is 30 Rock a half-hour show? Or an hour? Because I'm down to Veronica Mars and am indifferent-yet-still-watching Studio 60, though I'm pretty sure that'll be cancelled. If 30 Rock is half an hour, I can obtain the already-aired eps and catch up pretty quickly.
30 Rock is a half hour, Tep. I watched the first and my reaction was mixed. I fell asleep during the second, and Scott says that's a good thing. Was the third last night, or is it still coming up? I can't remember what nigth it airs. If it was last night, I think my TiVo made an editorial decision.
Have you given Heroes a shot. I think you could jump in, now. We're still discovering who has what power, etc.
cereal...
Tep, also 30 Rock is a sitcom. Even if you like it, I don't think there's any need to catch up, unless you want to.
What I can remember premise (might not be accurate, but should give you a feel): Tina Fey has a Girl Show. Alec Baldwin in some stove marketing guru that's somehow been put in a < memfault > position of power at the network. He fires Tina's producer, screws everything up, and bring on Tracy Morgan to get a ratings boost. Tracy Morgan and Alec are both batshit insane in their own ways (Baldwin's insanity is more subtle; Morgan's character is, honestly, mentally ill and makes about as much sense as the Buffybot when she's got a short) and a poor match for the show. Tina's annoyed by them, and the ratings are improving.

I think I might just start reading a lot more.
TC: First, I wish they would pick one way to pronounce lychee, and stick with it. That drove me crazy.
Also, I agree that it seemed more of an offhand remark. When I rewatched, I noticed that Elia was the closest to him, so you have at least two people that heard it. Why not say something then and there, especially when they already had to return something for going over? Plus, aren't they still pretty camera aware at this point? They must know they aren't going to get away with much. I think if Otto hadn't already been on the block, he might not have gone home.
One new thing - I got a card made out of that really rough textured recycled paper. Except apparently it has flower seeds embedded in it, and you're supposed to soak it and bury it and eventually you get flowers. Weird - anyone seen this? Does it work?
That sounds cool! I've always liked the handmade paper cards, and this does double duty.
I'm going to be glad when the World Series is over and Bones comes back on and saves me from watching Jericho. I've moved away from the horror (well, cause there was really none this week) and am bored with the idea of a show about survivalismitis. Theoretically. But Bones will be back, so I don't have to ponder that.
I think I just like Skeet. I never would have thought I would, but I can't figure out why else I'm watching.
There were horsies! (It was all very Little House on the Prairie at the end, wasn't it?)
