"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I think what you have to ask yourself is, are happy more than 50% of the time?

ETA: That was to Debet

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just beat a washing maching into submission with a mop handle.

ION, Old Navy used to sell CDs of the music they played in the store. Anyone know if they still do? Or at least have an accessible list of songs somewhere?

Lee, we're going to want pics of a pimped out pumpkin!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Megan, the only time I was happy tonight was when I got the ASL joke.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Can I just say, the first shot of 30 Rock tonight was funnier and realer than any Studio 60 so-called sketch (please Sorkin, KISS: have a robot fight a bear) and the whole episode was great. It really reminds me of Newsradio.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I might have to start watching 30 Rock--NewsRadio was the last sitcom I've watched on a regular basis.

And after tonight's Lost, I'm tempted to drop it, too. The only reason I'm sticking around is that I was semi-spoiled that something big is going to happen in the next few weeks, just don't know what .

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Finally watching Gillmore Girls: Did Rory not know that there are women in England?

Art Crawl!!!

Apparently, she did not -- or she thought that in the old country people lived 18th century lives and therefore no women at the office.

Well, Lost goes on hiatus after the second week in November.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah...might have played better if she didn't know the Brit was such a babe, as opposed to not knowing she was a chick ION, I am more disgusted than even I believed possible with Rush Limbaugh. Gimp humor...clever, you impotent windbag.

GG:

Heh. Though it may have been reasonable of her to assume that the women who DO wear suits to business meetings and don't show off their legs to close deals.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nah, I'd close a deal with a show of leg. But I have working the room issues. [GG]

I either sleep in pants or shorts most of the time. The shorts aren't proper outside shorts, mostly--boxers with unsecured fly. And looser than I'd normally wear.

Cass, I rechecked the credits for that WitB episode, and it wasn't from a McDiarmid book. But now I'm completely blanking on the name. The next ep is, though. I'm assuming that they're moving on to increased familiarity with the new chick and making her just do the Carol Jordan stuff, because IIRC, Carol doesn't go to Johannesburg in the books. Which reminds me, in the books, Tony Hill has erectile dysfunction, and there was an exchange in this second ep that seemed to reference it, even though it's never been mentioned onscreen.

Have all 4 eps aired? I realised I only have three of this season.
