Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Have people heard of the new Richard Dawkins book, The God Delusion? It's gotten a lot of attention (but I don't think I need to buy it). Anyway, here is a great review (in its entirety):

Every Review of a Richard Dawkins Book (slightly condensed) (87 comments )

The problem with all his logic and evidence and rationality is that he just doesn't understand how good nonsense feels.

Anyway, Bertrand Russell did it first.

Heh.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Damn, missed the MST discussion.

The best part is the trial thing at the end, where they debate the effect "Mr. B Natural" might have on gender roles.

The only downside is that the DVD version of the shorts leaves OUT any of the host segments, so you get MR. B in it's entirety, but not the debate. It also means, while I have the absolutely hilraious CATCHING TROUBLE short, the host segment where they hunt and abuse "The Great White Ross" isn't there. Keep your tapes people!

Note, that's only if it's one of the shorts-only DVDs; if there's a short with the movie, you'll get the whole enchilada.

  • sigh* Miss MST3K, lots. Also...

Joel was way cooler!!!!

Oh yeah. Whatever happened to her, anyway?

(Sorry.)

Also, we haven't seen any new pictures for a while, have we?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday, brenda!
