She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

In Ireland, do both sides claim green and neither side orange? ? (I guess, it is Ireland, so probably yes.)

Not if they're Protestants.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

In Rush-Limbaugh-is-an-asshole-but-y'all-knew-that-already news,

Yeah, if Jesus came back I'm sure Rush would call Him all sorts of liberal names. He'd probably call His mom a feminazi too....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yikes, Brenda. I hope you get your dog back soon.

Lee, how was Denver? Make it to any good sushi places?

Very fun, but no, because the fun was mostly of the sit around and watch tv and make fun of Nicole type.

Because books.

Scary, Brenda! Definitely get the dog back from your dad!

NASCAR is my methadone.

Ah. I don't know much about racing aside from NASCAR and ... is F1 Formula One? Not that I know what it is, really -- more that it exists.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yikes, Brenda. Get thee your big dog back soon.

And, I still refuse to believe that Schumy is retiring. Just refuse. It's not happening. However, I am excited to see what things are like next year, even though Alonso will likely be the next Shumy and dominate the season.
See, I don't think so. I don't see the McLaren's being all that more reliable next year. And they are losing the wicked cool color scheme too. Which has nothing to do with anything but I liked the silver and the Viking horns.

You know what an enduro is? I'm speechlees. They are so much fun. Absolutely love them. A true testament to a driver's ability and a car's quality.
My dad did a lot of SCCA racing while I was growing up. I loved going with him and have done a few Bonderaunt classes. Actually his old car owner was at Portland this year. He owns an Atlantic team and so we hung out in his transporter a bit. He's got one of my dad's old cars still in his race shop, I think the S2000 but maybe a Formula Ford. I come by my madness through genetics.

IMSA kicks off first with the 24 hours of Daytona. and HSR doesn't end until December at Sebring :D
Daytona is the *best*! First race of the season and lots of drivers pop in from other series. Love. It.

When you're racing - it's life. Anything that comes before or after is just waiting.

Yes, F1=Formula 1.

Not that I know what it is, really -- more that it exists.
Well, you at least recognized that F1 is Formula 1 which means you're ahead of many. :)

Yes, Formula One. It's very technical, crazy expensive, wildly political and really so much fun to me.

eta: How much do I love that we can have this xpost?

Presented without comment:

HOST: I’m curious, have you ever googled anybody? Do you use Google?

BUSH: Occasionally. One of the things I’ve used on the Google is to pull up maps. It’s very interesting to see — I’ve forgot the name of the program — but you get the satellite, and you can — like, I kinda like to look at the ranch. It remind me of where I wanna be sometimes.
