Hmmmm. How to answer this question? Let's see. I follow mostly IMSA related venues (i.e. GrandAm, ALMS, etc.), and I *attend* most HSR events.
Wow, an IMSA fan. Nice to meet you! Swoopy sports cars are just so much fun. Especially in enduros.
I am open wheel's bitch. Champ (which I have typed as CART twice now...), IRL after not following it for a while, and F1 along with their support series.
And, I of course follow F1 as well.
As you should. Next year should be fascinating. I'm rather hoping Kimi gets to show how good (I think) he is. And maybe gets some media skills. A girl can dream...
Are you a NASCAR fan, Cass, or ... another kind of racing?
NASCAR is my methadone. They start racing before anyone else and their season lasts longer. So I end up following them but not obsessively.
Next year might be different since I am sorta intrigued by Juan Pablo Montoya switching disciplines so completely.
And all this time I thought Cass was obsessed by horse racing.
Heh. No, I just think horsies are pretty and fun to ride. Plei is the one who knows horse racing, or used to follow it at least. I am all about the horse
power.
Okay, leeetle bit freaked. Apparently on Friday someone broke in to the apartment across the hall from me. By way of kicking in the door. Yikes.
My dad was here - he didn't mention hearing anything. But he needs to bring my guard dog back, stat.

Me too. But it makes sense to me.
And, I still refuse to believe that Schumy is retiring. Just refuse. It's not happening. However, I am excited to see what things are like next year, even though Alonso will likely be the next Shumy and dominate the season.
Especially in enduros.
You know what an enduro is? I'm speechlees. They are so much fun. Absolutely love them. A true testament to a driver's ability and a car's quality.
NASCAR is my methadone.
Mine too. However, IMSA kicks off first with the 24 hours of Daytona. and HSR doesn't end until December at Sebring :D

Yikes.
Is your doorjamb solid metal? Or metal in wood?
I love the car racing geekery.
Is neither an option? Because I'm guessing that would be it.
SAVE YOURSELVES, PEOPLE!!!! Run Buffistas! RUNNNNN!!!!!!)
But! It’s so cute to listen to her babble!
Oh, scary, brenda! I hope they catch the person and that your dad brings back your guard dog! SOON!
Is neither an option? Because I'm guessing that would be it.
So it's just wood?
I would tend to think that you could demmand more secure doors from your landlord, but I don't know what the landlord's legal obligations blah blah blah.... But one way or another, you should get a more-secure door....
Yikes Brenda. That is very scary.
I've actually met Paul. Very nice man. Most beautiful blue eyes. (They really are as blue as they seem on screen). ::sigh::
Oh my yes. I was stunned when I saw him in person (about 20 years ago). Not only were his eyes so very beautiful, he just had remarkable presence. You know how when you see celebs and you wonder if it is really them. Paul Newman is so one of a kind there is no doubt.
We go to Homestead from time to time because loved ones love racing. Me, I like the quiet. (don't hate me)
Definitely look into upgrading your door, Brenda! That's some scary shit happening. A year or so after I moved into my Oak Park apartment, a teacher was murdered two blocks away after coming back from her post-work job in the late afternoon to find a burglar in her kitchen (he had broken in the back door), and he stabbed her with one of her own knives. Got me paranoid enough to ensure my back door was always locked and bolted.
In Rush-Limbaugh-is-an-asshole-but-y'all-knew-that-already news, his response to the Michael J. Fox ad I posted over the weekend. Asshole doesn't quite cover it in this case...
