Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's creepy, ita. Kintera as a thing is legit, but I don't know about the rest of it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, and I didn't mention--the actual destination URLs in the message take you to naldep--cutting and pasting the text quoted above in takes you elsewhere.

A world of not-right.

Analysis: Jesse, can I come visit you again?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Does Rand deserve the Coulterian association? All I know is that her philosophy is wacky, but never heard that she was unusually mendacious or spiteful.

Well, she was, but in Rand's case, that was incidental to her actual career.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

PS to my earlier Rand post: I've been trying to work mendacious into conversation all week.

When you're racing - it's life. Anything that comes before or after is just waiting.

Cass, what venue was the race (i.e. HSR, SCCA, etc)? Paul's been racing for quite some time. In fact, he was still competing in the 24 of Hours of Daytona just a few years back (though his age is starting to show on the track).

Lee, how was Denver? Make it to any good sushi places?

Always Anti-fascist!

Favorite title sequence/themes The Wire(With or without the Waits vocal, although the Waits is significant for being the last music Bob Colesberry ever heard)
Scrubs
The Sopranos
The old-school, grey, scary Homicide credits
Hecubus, thought of you the other day as KO mentioned "bunting" and I pictured a buncha Mets out buying red, white and blue crap to hang on election booths.(yes, I know that ain't right.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Airstream, you may come to regret having admitted you know this.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I pictured a buncha Mets out buying red, white and blue crap to hang on election booths.

I beg to differ. Orange, white and blue. As eyesore an orange as you can think of (thankfully they only use it for bits of trim, and don't have whole jerseys in that color).

Which makes you wonder: what do countries that have unflattering colors in their flags do? In Ireland, do both sides claim green and neither side orange? (I guess, it is Ireland, so probably yes.) What if you are an Italian politician, and look terrible in green, but the other side has already claimed red?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Heh. Yes, you are probably right in this particular case.
