Local news is doing a piece on this mobile pet rescue unit they've got here now - more lessons from Katrina - and the newscaster just came on with this little tiny dog wrapped practically head to toe in bandages. First comment: "don't worry, Sebastian's not injured - we're just playin'". Really adorkable.

Now it turns out it's his actual own dog, who's looking mightly confused. And is also a girl dog, but named Sebastian because when he first got her (stray) she marked like a male dog so he just assumed. Hee.
Lucy's a total marker, too. I had a somewhat chagrinned note from the dog walker yesterday that, if marking has any real-world validity, Lucy is now the proud owner of a shiny new Vespa that was parked on the sidewalk and which she claimed before the walker could stop her.
