Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Art Crawl!!!

Hmmm, maybe my horrible left leg soreness that WILL NOT leave is a pulled muscle.

This also came on, I swear, when I was sitting right here at my home computer and shifted my leg around and then boom - pain.

Which, as I said will not leave and is currently having me almost on the verge of tears for most of tonight.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's what I meant to type, Jesse, I swear.

Maybe there's a horrible leg pain sprite that's travelling through the internet and affecting Buffistas.

Or perhaps my migraine has left me loopy. I can't believe I have to leave the house to pick up pills from the pharmacy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, Sara!

OK, ita, I meant what you meant, just backwards.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Michael J. Fox is campaigning for stem cell research (and against those Repubs who voting against it). Pretty sad to see him doing so poorly physically.

Holy hell, I really didn't expect my bro and SIL to have more than one. SIL was SO adamant.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Pretty sad to see him doing so poorly physically.

And yet also very cool, very brave to put vanity (and even some dignity) aside and let the world see what stem cell research could help alleviate.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Dad is visiting, and I drove him up to the KC area to visit more family. My time is not my own through all this, otherwise I would have tried to arrange a mini-f2f with the Buffistas here.

We went to a performance by Baxter Black at the University of Kansas campus in Overland Park last night. It was a good show, great fun, and I laughed til I cried.

Afterwards there were books and CDs for sale in the lobby. He pre-signs the books, but he does personalized inscriptions then and there, holding the book upside-down and writing backwards with a slant-tip pen. The result is pretty neat, a sort of calligraphy. Pictures here: [link]
