Natter 47: My Brilliance Is Wasted On You People
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Bought some noodle bowls (just add hot water) and they're incredibly salty.
Oh yes, I'd forgotten those. Even I think they are vilely salty, and I like salt. They are much much worse than ramen and most others I've run across. And they turn to glue really fast. Bleck.
Thanks, Lee! All set so I can get my fix go shopping when I actually need groceries. I forgot TJs was opening today and did my weekly shopping yesterday.
The TJ's that I go to has just started stocking a bigger range of nitrite-free deli meat. So maybe I can find out if I like pastrami. Sadly, at least one of the sorts of sliced roast beef was much too salty. But it isn't normally.
I like their Greek yoghurt too, but it's recently started triggering migraines. They have cream top yoghurt I like too, although I'm down to just the one non-trigger flavour.
Fun picture that was done as a promo for Laughing Squid: [link]
Man, I need this as wallpaper or something....
Also, and earwormed with Bowie's "Laughing Gnome," except with 'Gnome' replaced by 'Squid.'
I've been told not to buy the Two Buck Chuck wine--apparently it's so bad you'll want to give a blow job afterwards to get the taste out of your mouth.
I have a bottle but have not broken the seal. Will report when and if I do.
In fact, both the human Man Ray and the canine Man Ray were Americans.
I've used the Two-Buck Chuck for sangria and it was GOOOD sangria.
One should allocate the good wine for drinking solo, because it's the good juice that will make a good sangria.
I don't mind the two (three) buck chuck, and I've at least tried two of the varieties, if not three. I think I liked whatever the blended red was.
Or the chili lime nuts (but everyone else loves them.)
Not me, mang. It's because they're Thai chile lime, not Mexican chile lime.
