Matt, Hope your back feels better soon. I know the pain of that all too well.

Thankfully I'm merely achy today, rather than in agony like last night. Which completely flies in the face of all my previous experience with pulled or strained muscles the morning after, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Okay, so who can tell me what the best kinds of things there are to buy at Trader Joe's? We've got one opening up here TODAY!

This must be grand opening day. We've got one opening here too. It is, however, way the hell on the north side and was being covered by all the morning news today, so I don't think I'm going to Trader Joe's anytime soon. There's another location scheduled to open in a few months at a much closer location.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Best kinds of things to buy at Trader Joe's: Interesting, prepared, TJ's branded stuff. There's a huge variety there, which does vary. A lot of people swear by the peanut butter stuffed pretzels, but I'm scared to buy them. Love the taquitos. Their cereal is often really cheap.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Too bad about the obligatory talking animal

She is a talking animal, isn't she?

Our standard TJ's purchase always includes Dr. Prager's veggie burgers, the frozen orange chicken for emergency dinners, fizzy water, Luna/Cliff bars, a few flavors of Barbara's cereals and wines with labels that amuse us. Then I throw anything that intrigues me on top of that.

She does look odd, but I was actually referring to the weasel-thing in the fez.

I love a world where I can type sentences like that.

I was thinking it looks like a cross between a monkey and a ferret.
