Clearly you're still paying for all the gelato and lovely scenery.
Yes, between that and the plague, the vacation is clearly over.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Well, now I'm completely unsupervised and proofreading documents about joint tenancy because I'm bored.
Okay, now I'm scared.
Of Nancy Reagan?

You're NOT?
Okay, so who can tell me what the best kinds of things there are to buy at Trader Joe's? We've got one opening up here TODAY! Eeeee! I'm so happy, but I have no idea what kind of goodies are teh yummiest.

What crude line-art flash game is getting more search hits on Google than Kim Jong Il? It's called Line Rider, and Time.com reports that it has attracted a cult following worldwide:
Part Jackass stunt, part physics lesson, Line Rider encourages users to "draw" their own ramps, hills, and slopes with a pencil tool, then sends a virtual sledder (wearing a red scarf) along the route until he swoops, swerves and crashes. Build an elaborate enough course and you'll feel like a little kid playing in the snow again, zooming downhill, popping up in the air, wiping out on a ramp jump a la Evel Knievel.
Man, legal language is freaksome. I'm glad I never tried to go into law; apparently I would have spent the first semester with a red pen clutched in my hand, going all English-Major-OCD on perfectly innocent course material.
From an amusing cartoon about a female computer tech I just discovered
Too bad about the obligatory talking animal
Matt, Hope your back feels better soon. I know the pain of that all too well.
Thankfully I'm merely achy today, rather than in agony like last night. Which completely flies in the face of all my previous experience with pulled or strained muscles the morning after, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

This must be grand opening day. We've got one opening here too. It is, however, way the hell on the north side and was being covered by all the morning news today, so I don't think I'm going to Trader Joe's anytime soon. There's another location scheduled to open in a few months at a much closer location.
