Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Oh, I was thinking something more like a very narrow piece of PVC pipe; that'll hold them steadier than wire, and it's lightweight. But it still has to be attached to something else eventually.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maybe you could use that idea as the basis for something with ace bandages or something? You just need some kind of sturdy base around your shoulders, I think.

Remember I am the person who thought "head on a platter" involving an enormous table (cardboard box side) was a good costume for taking on the subway and thence into huge crowds, so it's possible I just have no sense.

Herding cats for fun

I've seen that sort of gear attached to the body with elastic loops for the arms. They have a sturdy part in the back for the shoulder gear to attach to.

GA is making me laugh and cringe because I knew this couple in college who were waaaaay too open about their reciprocal ahem piercings and got stuck more than a few times. Once in a photo shoot. Which I really wish I didn't know about but walked in on.

I wonder if they are still together. They struck me as going through a phase as performance artists, which makes me wonder if they are now separate and de-tatting and piercing. Or if they are still together and totally inked and pierced.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Of course, now that this is over Top Chef is starting, which is another new round of drama for the reality-addicted. Anyone else going to watch?

Oh yes. If only for Padma Lakshmi. Because wow.

Yes, I can be shallow.

But wow.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'll be watching.

If you can attach your shoulder whatevers to your bra straps, that might help with keeping them in place.

OK, I guess it is because I reconnected with a family friend who lost her mom to breast cancer and the other thing, but the Breast Cancer Awareness spots are KILLING me. Like sobbing and remembering 16 and Lorraine and uhg. Good cause and all, but seriously, way over emotional reaction.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I have internet at home now!! Cable guy just left (nice guy, not at all like Jim Carrey)--since he's the apartment complex's cable rep, he's the usual go-to guy for Comcast issues/connections, so he knows me and likes me (Dad and I kept him entertained when he hooked up my tv back in May, and he remembers Dad very well and even told me to tell him "Hi"!). Therefore, I got free connection (saved $25) and he didn't bitch (overmuch) when he found out my computer here is still running on WindowsME.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm totally watching Top Chef!! In fact, I've already started. I loved both the first quickfire AND the first elimination challenge. And the new hostess is SO MUCH Better than Mrs. Joel.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I can make my own Christmas gifts this year.

Baby panda is NOT dead. In fact, it's pretty pissed off.
