I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I can make my own Christmas gifts this year.

Baby panda is NOT dead. In fact, it's pretty pissed off.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Tampon crafts killed the thread, didn't it?

I cannot believe how much it's raining on the Mets & Cards.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm listening to the game on the radio, so cannot see the rain.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Of course, now that this is over Top Chef is starting, which is another new round of drama for the reality-addicted. Anyone else going to watch?

We just finished watching the premiere. It looks like it is going to be an interesting season, and Padma is wonderful as the new host.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If anyone has a spare back, I could use one. Tonight I helped move the hospital bed my aunt is giving my dad, and at one point ended up lowering one end of the roughly 400 lb. hydraulic frame in an awkward crouching position. Not coincidentally, that was the point at which my kidneys decided enough was enough and they were going to make a break for freedom. I suspect a leave day and heating pad are in the cards for tomorrow.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Can anyone give me ideas on how to achieve the shoulders in this outfit? Strictly, it's a set of wire loops (not shoulderpads), but I can't work out how to anchor them.

Something like the strappy parts of a shoulder gun holster under the dress should be a pretty stable thing to attach the shoulder stuff to.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I watched Top Chef on the plane tonight, and now I'm afraid I will need to keep watching.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Apparently it makes me look like a wealthy, harmless philanthropist.

If only clothes made such things true!

Oh yes. If only for Padma Lakshmi. Because wow.

Is she the new host? 'Cause I heard they changed hosts.

We just finished watching the premiere. It looks like it is going to be an interesting season, and Padma is wonderful as the new host.

I loved it last year. There was something about the combination of the people that were competing and absolutely glorious food they were creating that caught me. So I'm interested to see how this season is going to grow and change.

I watched Top Chef on the plane tonight, and now I'm afraid I will need to keep watching.

Tangentally related, whenever I watch recent tv on my computer while on trains/planes/sitting in cafes, I wonder if people think I have some secret uplink to the feed satellites that only I can access to watch tv whenever I want. I mean, if you don't know about aheming, it's gotta be a double-take to see someone watching Top Chef on their 15-inch computer monitor.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Cashmere, I totally laughed at the tampon crafts! And also am exploring the world of Wikiality, which is definitely a kinder, gentler, truthier world than the one I'm sitting in right now. It almost makes the rotten headache I woke up with seem less gronkifying.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Have you people seen all the Grey's Anatomy cast gossip? Apparently Isaiah Washington threw out "I'm not your little faggot" in a fight with Patrick Dempsey, and then TR Knight came out. [link]
