See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi Burrell! Happy birthday again!

Now I want a cupcake. Thanks a LOT, Burrell. And I just realized how I can justify "happening" to go by the good cupcake place... NO. Will not have cupcakes. Have been entirely too indulgent this week.

I ate the rest of the "cheesecake" if it helps at all.

I'm at the airport, all checked in, and have had a beer and onion rings. Now I just need to kill 2 plus hours.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Lee! Where did you get the cake for my baby shower? I want to get one for "B".

Will someone please talk me out of bidding on this table?

Er, all of that ornate carving will be annoying to dust. (Yeah, it didn't even sound convincing in my head.) More seriously, the "easy to assemble" part would give me pause.

I heard about this on the radio on the way home, but can't find any other info yet:

SEOUL - South Korean scientists said on Thursday they have developed a new genetically altered strain of virus, which is highly efficient in targeting and killing cancer cells.
[...]
Following three rounds of injections, more than 90 percent of cancer cells in the brains, liver, lungs and womb of mice disappeared.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks for the birthday wishes, y'all! My main celebratory thing wasn't today, but I decided a while ago that I wanted to get my first tattoo around this birthday and ended up getting it this past Monday. I'll be posting pictures as soon as I get some. It's the viking longship that I was blathering on about a while back. I adore it.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I successfully avoided any confrontations with people attempting to save children on the way home. Except for the teacher who asked about the manga I was reading on the train, but then again, that allowed me to pimp high school literacy by way of serial killers, so I call it win-win.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Know what's good? A roast beef sandwich on homemade bread (though I do wish I had tomatoes) followed up by a dark chocolate cupcake with chocolate ganache.

For the record.
