Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Suspect someone has replaced caffeine in both cups with with apathy.
And you care ?

And you care?

Only insofar as I'm extremely bored, yet too lethargic to do anything about it. I'll try caring again after lunch.

PR: I have a question about the Jeffrey scandal. I don't really have an opinion of whether he outsourced work or not, but why was looking at the receipts deemed enough of an investigation? If a contestant outsourced, wouldn't they try to do it completely off the books, without including receipts?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthdays!!

Re: nuclear dreams and memories, I don't recall ever having apocalyptic dreams, but I did read On the Beach for 7th grade English class. That was my first nuclear-themed book, and definitely told me that nukes are No Good. This was in 1978-79, so No Nukes rallies were pretty common on the news. I had a bit of cognitive dissonance because my dad worked at the local nuclear power plant, so I was aware that some nukes were Good, as long as they kept Dad employed. A few years later, I saw Threads, which freaked me out much more than The Day After did. Then, during college, I saw Testament, and that just depressed me to no end.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

megan, it sounded to me like they did both: investigated the accusations, and went through the receipts.
