ION, how the fuck did I turn the game off early last night? Feh.

Me too. But just before 11:00 I heard people in my building cheering, so I turned it back on to catch the end. That game was fucked up - we totally should not have won. Oh well - dem's da breaks....

Something I did not know: George Roby Dempster invented... the Dumpster!

That's especially funny for me. If you're on Hwy 94 and you want to go to Evanston, you take the Dempster St. Exit. In order to remember that street name, I used the mnemonic device of picturing a dumpster. (No, I didn't know the connection until now.)

Heh. We always called them Dipsy Dumpsters. I wonder now if it was just a bastardization of Dempster that was lost to history.
