It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Congratulations!

Something is not right when I have to be the one to tell the server admin that computer support is working on the problem with his server. Why don't they tell him?! I'm not even in computer support!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's great, bon bon!

The dumpsters at my university were actual Dempster Dumpsters and that's what we called them.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Heh. We always called them Dipsy Dumpsters. I wonder now if it was just a bastardization of Dempster that was lost to history.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, I think Dipsy was on the losing side of the Great Dumpster Wars....

The notion that President Bush is not just in denial -- but is petulantly in denial -- is taking on greater credence thanks to two recent Washington Post stories.

Interesting. But the coolest thing about this article is the Princess Bride reference on page 2.

To be fair if Paramount hadn't get the other Oompa Loompa song...

OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DOO
I'VE GOT A PERFECT PUZZLE FOR YOU
OOMPA LOOMPA, DOOMPADAH DEE
IF YOU ARE WISE YOU'LL LISTEN ME
WHAT DO YOU GET WITH A PREEMPTIVE WAR
LOT OF CHAOS AND WORLD OPINION SORE
NEXT TIME YOU SEND TROOPS OFF TO DIE
HAVE A PLAN AND DO. NOT. LIE.

YOU'LL GET NO
YOU'LL GET NO
YOU'LL GET NO
YOU'LL GET NO INSURGENCY

OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DAH
IF YOU'RE NOT GREEDY YOU WILL GO FAR
YOU WILL LIVE IN HAPPINESS TOO
LIKE THE OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DO
DOOMPADEE DOO

...then things would have gone better for Bush.

Bush probably thinks that Wonka is developing nuclear weapons, and if we bomb Wonkaland, the Oompa Loompas will rise up and overthrow Wonka.
