All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

liked what I saw of the second episode of Studio 60, though I fell asleep and missed the end.

Oh, Sean. You'll have to find a way to see the end. It was brilliant!

Is that an occupational hazard for you, Sean?

Snerk. Occasionally, yes.

See, I think it's fascinating. But mostly it's the character interaction that I dig, so it could be set almost anywhere, and as long as it was well-written and the characters were 3-dimensional and complex, I'd be happy.

This is what's keeping me interested. It's not really anything about the show, it's just the underlying premise that bugging me in a sort of background way. And I remind myself that Sports Night was about a TV show, too, including the executives.

I still plan on watching it, I just hope that niggling feeling of "WHO CARES!???" goes away.

I'm sure I'll catch the Bravo rebroadcast. Sleep just caught up with me with a vengeance last night at about 10:30.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

A big part of my fascination, I'll admit, is the fact that it has a vocally Christian character who isn't a holier-than-thou wingnut. I'm very interested to see how that plays out and develops, as well as (I hope) her backstory.

She's one of my favorite characters on that show. I'm really liking her, and hope she sticks around. She's not as good at delivering Sorkin-speak as some of the other characters, which worries me a little (though she's not as gawdawful as Moira Kelley was on WW), but I hope she sticks around.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Speaking of season premieres, I think ER's is the best I've seen so far this autumn.
