Let him do his thing, and then you get him out. No messing with him for laughs.

I am watching very few new shows. I barely keep up with what I want to watch now as it is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Speaking of season premieres, I think ER's is the best I've seen so far this autumn.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

That'll be helpful for Super Repetitive Guy.

And his split personality sidekick, Bad Spelling Boy!

Art Crawl!!!

It was good. It actually LIVED up to their hype.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

It's not that the show is *about* this TV show, but about these characters, who just happen to work in TV.

ITA. For me, the heart of the show is the Danny and Matt relationship. If it wasn't for them, or for the fact that Whitford and Perry convincingly play them as Best Friends Forever, I wouldn't be sticking around. I'm really interested in seeing how they develop Danny, especially--Matt seems very "what you see is what you get," but Danny hints at some real depth to his psyche.

Every time I decide to quit ER because I'm not invested at ALL and so lame, they decide to torture someone else, and I have to stick around to see what happens. Even though I don't care and often want them all to have a helicopter fall on them. It's irritating.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It'll be interesting to see if they end up with a woman at that writers table because as of now there are none. That's pretty common in the industry of course (scary when SNL is AHEAD of the game in that regard -- though it did seem to lead to a slippery slope where cast members could grow boobs and have babies so maybe they need to re-think it).

Is GG new tonight? I'm kind of expecting/hoping it to JtS this season, so I'll have one less thing to watch.
