"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yikes.

And here I was coming to post about my cursive freezing in its juvenile, extra curly bits state since I lost interest in improving my writing round about seventh grade.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

FDNY has apparently confirmed that it was a helicopter.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

These buildings are less than half the size the towers were -- this was not a jet.

Yeah, I can't even imagine a plane being that small and low.

What is even happening?

These buildings are less than half the size the towers were -- this was not a jet.

I wasn't saying it was. I was talking about five years ago.

FDNY has apparently confirmed that it was a helicopter.

No. I've been bouncing between NBC and CNN. Some reports are still saying fixed wing aircraft. Some are saying helicopter. Nobody knows. They don't think it's anything but a tragic accident, but a no-fly zone has been established and NORAD has scrambled fighter jets over major cities.

No. I've been bouncing between NBC and CNN.

Both of which, up until a few minutes ago, were saying that the crash happened "near Rockefeller Center" (which is 30 blocks south and on the other side of town), so I'm relying on local news sources for now.

Because books.

I'm wondering if some of the pictures they're showing are from earlier, because whenever they focus on the flames, the fire seems to be contained to one or two apartments. But they're still saying people are trapped on the floors above.

brillig

And you just know there's somebody in an office somewhere watching this story unfold then yelling "That's my place!" Poor things.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Here's how you know I'm a bitch: my second thought was "I hope this doesn't fuck up my east side commute home."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's near Rockfeller University

Here's a blog page with some decent pictures.
