I think that was Casey, Sue.

hip deep in pie

erika, was it Pixley that he picked up?

Yeah, and I gotta echo everyone that heard about that and say "Pixley?" Even though the whole walking-and-talking? A bit tough to manage for me.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

"Pixley? Her name is Pixley?"

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

And I meant to echo whoever said they liked Ricky and Ron, cuz I do too. If they didn't mean to hire some guys who seem like mensches, they probably shouldn't have hired Handler and Jacott.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

New York Magazine has a great interview with Stephen Colbert in this month's issue. If you read it, make sure you look at the last page--it's a list of Stephen's suggested talking points for both parties' candidates on the current major issues.

On Prayer in Schools: Democrats--There is no place in public school for God, no matter how you choose to define Him … or not define Him … or Her … or It … or Them … or … We? Republicans--The public schools need our prayers, because they’re sure not getting our money.

Somehow I pictured Dana in her room that night talking to her mirror or something in a voice going "Hi. My name is Pixley. My parents thought I was so sweet they gave me a name that sounds like candy." Not that I know anyone that petty or bitter. Much. But Casey is cute. And she's already coming in second to Danny anyway. That can do things to a person. And "Pixley" is empirically something to make fun of.

That was me, and I think the viewers weren't meant to *dislike* Ricky and Ron. I think it had to be set up that there was friction in the past, and a grudge (whether justified or not) on both sides, but they're basically a couple of guys who are pissed off that they got the shaft out of the blue and are now worried about their jobs.

This week's ep made them a lot more 3-dimensional, for me.

I agree. I would give Sorkin credit if he's able to keep them that way, since TWoP pointed out that some details about Ricky/Ron resemble the content of Sorkin's grudges against TWW writers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita, what type of position are you looking for? Feel free to e me as I work for a big software co. in SM that would be lucky to have you...

Will do!

One's internet connection goes down for an hour or so, and look at all the niceness and suggestions.

eta:

the guy who did DaVinci's inquest has a new series, Intelligence, that premieres tonight. Starring Matt Frewer, one of the principals from DaVinci's whose name I can't remember, and Clea DuVal

Uh, he's busy with Eureka. Okay, -ish.

And, TB, it's highly unlikely I can get back onto company property. My manager is especially by-the-rules, and even not so there's a whole sign-in, no-network-access thing that'd bar me. Factor in the 70 mile round trip and I'll...well, now that I think of it, I'll just do pretty printing at krav.
