It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I agree. I would give Sorkin credit if he's able to keep them that way, since TWoP pointed out that some details about Ricky/Ron resemble the content of Sorkin's grudges against TWW writers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita, what type of position are you looking for? Feel free to e me as I work for a big software co. in SM that would be lucky to have you...

Will do!

One's internet connection goes down for an hour or so, and look at all the niceness and suggestions.

eta:

the guy who did DaVinci's inquest has a new series, Intelligence, that premieres tonight. Starring Matt Frewer, one of the principals from DaVinci's whose name I can't remember, and Clea DuVal

Uh, he's busy with Eureka. Okay, -ish.

And, TB, it's highly unlikely I can get back onto company property. My manager is especially by-the-rules, and even not so there's a whole sign-in, no-network-access thing that'd bar me. Factor in the 70 mile round trip and I'll...well, now that I think of it, I'll just do pretty printing at krav.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Still looking for a Halloween costume? I can think of several around here that this might suit: [link]

I wondered about that too, but from what I hear, Intelligence is a 13 episode series. For now.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

ita, I've been offline for a day or two. I'm so sorry to hear your news. I'm going to take Nora's line, though, and think that it was your toxic work building causing your migraines, and now you're out of there they'll clear up.

Other than that, though, I can only nod at the "keep the gym" "Cobra" and other advice you've gotten here.

I watched a previous episode of Heroes on SciFi last night before watching last night's ep on (CBS?). I like it. And I watched Studio 60 for the first time last night, too. It was amusing, but it doesn't feel like it's going to be must-see for me. I liked The Nine. At least it'll be interesting to see where they go with it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I saw that before, but I just noticed that the pattern on the skirt is the spines of books.

Eureka's 13, Intelligence is 13, and he's not lead on Eureka anyway, so maybe he's got the stamina.

If the bod is any indication, he's fit.

I have pretty much decided to be Aunty Entity. I need to look around at wig availability--something rockerish in an ashy blonde will work. Silver cloth for the dress which I'll work out some way to assemble, drape, and...well, if I can avoid sewing, all the better. Doesn't have to last past October. And springs or wire I wind myself for the sidepieces. In some shots she also has a spring around her forehead.

How marvellous would that be?

He's not a lead on Intelligence either (though I think it's a meatier role than Eureka). I think he's just keeping himself employed year round.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I need to look around at wig availability--something rockerish in an ashy blonde will work.

I'm sure you can find the right wig in LA.

I just had the kind of meeting I hate -- where I all but admit "I'm not sure I know how to do my job," but not in so many words, and the boss is like, "I got nothing." Argh! At least someone pointed out who I should actually be saying this to. Am now taking deep breaths.

But I guess I have time to look around. Maybe not today, though.

Jesse, does having some direction for this concern help?

Made appointment to have a physical on Thursday and my eyes examined tomorrow. If I need new glasses (or, really, can get them, since it's been two years since the first pair) hopefully I can swing that in short order.

I had a waking nightmare last night. So very weird. Haven't had one of those since I was wee. But the upside to a waking nightmare is that they're easy to talk myself out of being jarred by them, even when the visual persists.

This one wasn't even that scary. I have two swords, well, one training sword and one real one, propped by the side of my bed. When I woke up and looked over, one was swarming with these black and white lizards crawling up it, and whose weight was making it turn.

It was pretty simple to remind myself that there were no lizards with morphing Rorshach blot patterns in real life, but even when I closed my eyes, they wouldn't go away. Ick.
