Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Pretty new VW convertible. It has a hardtop (that folds up).

$30,620 nicely equipped.

The base engine and transmission configuration will easily propel the Eos from a standstill to 60 m.p.h. in just 6.4 seconds, according to testing by Car and Driver magazine.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

We are watching Doctor Who - and I like david Tennet a lot. in terms of regeneration, his happioer , more connected personality makes sense. and he can spin on a dime

ita , David said what I was going to say - just hang on to all those records - they can do audits at least 4 or 5 years after the fact. Plus COBRA - do what ever it takes to keep it. as long as you are coverd new insurence can't call pre -exsisting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Note to self: COBRA not CORBA

Robin, Tennant's no Eccleston, but he's still a lot of fun. There's some discussion of it in Boxed Set, but it's disjointed since some people watched it while it was airing in Britain, and others are watching it now.

Got emails back from the two co-workers worth keeping talking to. One was diplomatically friendly (he's a big cheese now), and the other...turns out they shut of his network access at 2pm, just like the rest of ours. But he didn't even work for a group being trimmed. In fact, he'd transferred out a week or two ago into a better job in a new department. He just fell through the cracks.

He's reinstated and stuff, but man, what a freakout!

Okay, awake, but with migraine. I have to commit to to-dos for today, so it doesn't slide out of my control.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Studio 60 was not as cringeworthy last night

I liked it, except -- what was with all the Strindberg references? Just like with the Gilbert & Sullivan thing, does Sorkin really think that his TV audiences are going to get those references?

Also, the less of the "comedy" sketches they show, the better. Because Meet the Press with Juliette Lewis -- not funny. Mostly just random.

I find myself really liking Ricky and Ron.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Cool project

Our names are Scotty and Fiddy and we're hitchhiking to all 50 state capitals in 50 consecutive days or less.

hip deep in pie

This was the first Studio 60 I really enjoyed. I actually laughed!

I enjoyed the Strindberg reference, as a recovering drama geek.

As to Dr. Who, the second series started last night on CBC and I liked it, even if I'm missing Eccleson a lot.

In other CBC news, the guy who did DaVinci's inquest has a new series, Intelligence, that premieres tonight. Starring Matt Frewer, one of the principals from DaVinci's whose name I can't remember, and Clea DuVall, who was in that final season of Millennium.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Studio 60: I laughed at the Strindberg too!

did watch Heroes, and am embarassed to say that it put a bit from the song "Heroes" in my head, where it remains to this day. The embarassing part is that it is Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor singing it.

Um. I'm glad I'm not the only one!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Clea DuVall, who was in that final season of Millennium.

And also currently appearing on Heroes (not as one of the main characters) and who played Marcie the invisible girl.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Um. I'm glad I'm not the only one!

My girl!
