Studio 60 was not as cringeworthy last night
I liked it, except -- what was with all the
Strindberg
references? Just like with the Gilbert & Sullivan thing, does Sorkin really think that his TV audiences are going to get those references?
Also, the less of the "comedy" sketches they show, the better. Because
Meet the Press with Juliette Lewis
-- not funny. Mostly just random.
I find myself really liking Ricky and Ron.
This was the first Studio 60 I really enjoyed. I actually laughed!
I enjoyed the
Strindberg reference,
as a recovering
drama
geek.
As to Dr. Who, the second series started last night on CBC and I liked it, even if I'm missing Eccleson a lot.
In other CBC news, the guy who did DaVinci's inquest has a new series, Intelligence, that premieres tonight. Starring Matt Frewer, one of the principals from DaVinci's whose name I can't remember, and Clea DuVall, who was in that final season of Millennium.
Studio 60: I laughed at the
Strindberg
too!
did watch Heroes, and am embarassed to say that it put a bit from the song "Heroes" in my head, where it remains to this day. The embarassing part is that it is Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor singing it.
Um. I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Clea DuVall, who was in that final season of Millennium.
And also currently appearing on Heroes (not as one of the main characters) and who played Marcie the invisible girl.
Hey, ita, what type of position are you looking for? Feel free to e me as I work for a big software co. in SM that would be lucky to have you...
Clea DuVall, who was in that final season of Millennium.
And also currently appearing on Heroes (not as one of the main characters) and who played Marcie the invisible girl.
ACK! that was a brain fart. It's Clea Scott, no DuVall.
Did anyone (else) watch
The Nine
? I liked it, especially the parts with Tim Daly.
Lee, I watched the pilot a few months ago when the press screeners came out, and it was one of my favorites. I'm not caught up on the broadcasts though.
