Shopping done, now I can put my feet up and be quietly sick at home.

At just past 9 in the morning, water's dripping from my bathroom ceiling (near light fixtures) into my sink. Do I wake the apartment manager or call the emergency maintenance number? Considering for both that I'm leaving the apartment in ten or so minutes...
I think I'm calling maintenance. It's less rude and more their job. They can wake her up if they need to.
Real quiet today.
I just got a haircut. Now I'm having lunch, then I'm going to pick up some shelves I bought yesterday, clean my apartment, and then maybe see The Science of Sleep.
It is quiet, and the rest of the internet isn't very interesting today either.
Ah well, guess I will have to get some work done.
Too quiet. I need to be cleaning, but I may take a nap instead.
Have you tried Magic Eraser?
Not yet, though I need to remember to buy one today for the grout even if the tub proper is beyond help. I suspect at this point my choices are learn to live with it or have someone apply a new layer of enamel.
I am busily cleaning house in an effort to redeem myself for having wasted all day yesterday. Putting away summer clothes, getting out fall clothes, and filling a big bag for Goodwill with WTF clothes. WTF was I thinking, WTF am I keeping this for, and WTF this will never fit.
Ooh, yeah, I could go through my clothes -- that would be a good project this afternoon, which woudln't involve a whole lot of brain cells. Cold medicine & brain, not a good combination here for me....
Oof, Theo, sick sucks.
I need to go through my clothes, but I'm in denial. They will fit me again someday! They will!
OTOH, I've been crashing around trying to get the place clean before the DH comes home tomorrow. I feel like I'm a teenager who's been throwing huge parties while the parents are away...but no, I'm just a slob with a toddler.
And the cat is annoyed. I bought him a new cat bed because his old one was NAST.Y. Of course he is eschewing the new one.
I purged three bags worth of crud clothes out of my closet well over a year ago. They're sitting next to the front door. I think it's time they got dropped off at Goodwill.
We've got a beautiful fall day here, too. Not sure of the actual temperature, but I'm guessing mid-60s. With that crisp fall air that energizes you. I drove along the lake with my car windows down after church. Made me all zen and stuff.
