I look more rad than Lutheranism

Sean! I talked to my best friend (she's the COO of our local organ-donation bank) over the weekend, and she said that S. is in the best possible place, geographically, because California is so freaking big that there are 1-2 liver transplants a day throughout the state. When I explained S.'s situation, my friend was pretty confident that she'll get a transplant.

Obviously that's no kind of guarantee for S., but my best friend has been working in organ donation for 6-7 years, and she *really* knows her shit.

(Also, I'll delete this post if you don't want this info spread far and wide. Just say the word.)

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

No deletion necessary, Steph. Thanks for the info! There's some drawbacks to staying here, but it's good to hear from someone more in the know about what our prospects are.

Art Crawl!!!

OMG!

A&T sucks so much: they are NOT going to show the remaining episodes of MI-5 in normal manner. They are going to marathon them on October 21st.

I hope this means that we'll get next season on BBCA.

I explained that, after jumping through all the annoying paperwork hoops, S. is expedited (right?), and that just made my friend even more confident that S. will get a transplant.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So is it really Monday morning and I'm at work... or am I dreaming this?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hope everyone is having an easy Yom Kippur. I was shocked at how empty my train was this morning, but I guess it's a combination of people observing and parents who took the day off because the schools are closed.

One of my bosses is doing Yom Kippur stuff. The non!Jewish boss is out too - I don't know why.

I am awaiting a FedExed database on CD so I can do some debugging....

How the hell did it get to be October?

Yeah, I think there's supposed to be another month before October. Someone must have misplaced it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I thought that money was independent of your company once it had been deposited

yeah it is, I just mean co. controlled stuff.

Let's not forget to divide the blame equally between greedy companies and compliant congressmen/women.

oh, absolutely. And in my dad's case, you can also throw in current employees - cause they sold out the retirees and ok'd the co. dumping retiree pensions. I think that may be the worst thing for my dad. He was an elected union rep for the employees and then volunteered for probably 10 years.
