They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Ugly Betty is up against Survivor, My Name Is Earl/The Office, and Smallville. So I'd say it has an uphill climb, although it is the lead-in for Grey's Anatomy.

Ugly Betty is up against Survivor

FUCK! I was afraid of that. I hope ABC Family continues to rebroadcast the week's episode. I really like the show. Not enough to stop watching Survivor, because CRACK!

Please be good, ABC Family channel....

That's why I don't think I'll be able to give up my dvr when the free trial ends.

Damn, I just checked the TV Guide website and they're showing no listings for MI-5 for the next 14 days!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

That's why I don't think I'll be able to give up my dvr when the free trial ends.

I said the same thing 2 years ago. What happened? We moved into the house and went from one to two. Keep in mind that these are dual tuner DVRs, so I can record two shows at once on each box. Four shows total, and there are some nights when that's not enough. Craxy.

My diamond-encrusted platinum shoes are too tight.

Yeah, I have one dual tuner, and I need to start remembering to set the VCR on the other TV. What I really want to do is take back my other Tivo which I gave to my family in a fit of selflessness that's really chapping my ass now. Must learn to resist those urges.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Hec, I haven't been around, so I just now read about Matilda's arrival! Congratulations! I know it has been stressful, but also very amazing I am sure.

Poor stressy JZ. Things will be much more settled for you guys awfully soon.

It's getting much better. The breastfeeding is actually working pretty well already. Matilda got a good bunch tonight and she's still on colostrum. Once JZ's milk comes down I expect it'll be easy peasey. [knocks wood]

So we had our "celebration dinner" tonight at the hospital. A fancier meal for your last night in the hospital. They had filet mignon on the menu. That's what I ordered. They called back ask me how I wanted it cooked. I told them. And they delivered...pot roast. Did they think I wouldn't notice the difference? Oh well, Emmett didn't like his pizza so we switched anyway, and now he likes pot roast.

Things Emmett Said Tonight:

Me: Her head is pretty much back to normal now. [takes off her hat]
Emmett: Whoa! It is. Who's got a pretty little head?

Me: Let me know when you want to put the baby down to eat your food.
Emmett: No, I'm good. [leans down and snuzzles her]

"Hospital dinners are fun!"

[After she was fed and bundled and making lots of eye contact and staring in wonder] "Who's a cute little baby of bogglement?"

He rubbed her forehead very lightly to quiet her down. He kissed her cheeks with little tiny kisses. He sang a wordless "la la la" lullaby to her.

"Now I'm glad I have a little sister."

And when we pulled up in the car and got home, after he'd been listening to his Nano he just announced, "I love Matilda!"
