Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

Since LJ's down, I'll post this here. I decided to get another carseat for Ellie in case Joe needs to pick her up at some point. So, after researching, I found that Sears had the one I wanted. I went to the Sears here (at the huge mall) and they had the exact carseat I wanted, easily accessible, and, it was supposed to be $20 more than in the US, but it had a US-price sticker on it so they gave it to me for that price. I'm so happy because nothing in PR is ever that simple!

move out and draw fire

I love when stuff like that happens, Stephanie! (Also, I just saw your photos of picking coffee - how fun is that?)

Suzi, sorry you got my party karma. We laid in 4 cases of beer and now I have 3.5 cases of beer to give away (and we'd chilled a lot of it, so I can't just put it in the storeroom).

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok. Gardetto's people are SOOO smart. They FINALLY started making bags of just rye chips. I love them.

Rye chips for President!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Also, is LJ broken for anyone else?
It went down late-ish last night. They killed LJ. Bastards.

What do I want to eat? (Should that go in Natter?)

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Ok. Gardetto's people are SOOO smart. They FINALLY started making bags of just rye chips. I love them.

YES! I love those things! I will need to seek these out. In a couple of weeks. I'm having a body scan in a couple of weeks and have to be on a low-iodine diet until then. It's not horrible, but I can't eat any packaged foods, so it takes a lot of planning.

(Side note to Sean: if your mom ends up having a radiation treatment and/or body scan, she'll need to do this diet too. thyca.org has guidelines and a low iodine cookbook that's pretty helpful. I'm making the chili from it right now!)

What do I want to eat? (Should that go in Natter?)

Potato soup.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

T-1 hour to the party. Mom's best friend called and she IS coming, so thank heaven for small favors. I'm hinding in my room trying to find a calm space. Everything is in place and now it is just waiting. But I told her that my friends weren't coming until later - so I can appear to be absolutely done - ya know?

Gardettos rock! LJ being down doesn't help me with finding distractions.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I realized last night as I was going to bed that I had lost an earring. Tragedy as they were made by an artist friend of mine and I wear them all of the time. Today I realized that it might have come off when I took off a nubly turtleneck sweater so I checked and found my earring! So happy. I had already plotted out my email to Mike asking him for another pair of moonstones but now? I have my pretty, pretty earrings back.

Suzi, have a lovely time at the party. I am sure it will be wonderful.

Potato soup.
Well I certainly do now. Mmmm, tater soup...

How do I already want a nap?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

because naps are made. of. awesome.?
